IN May 2007 Ross was included in the first-team squad that travelled to Los Angeles to face LA Galaxy having been a stand-out as he progressed through the club's ranks.
A strong, composed defender he has now featured at U19 level for three years and in this time won domestic doubles in 2006/07 and 2007/08.
Having battled back from several injury problems that have hampered his development the 19-year-old Scot will be a key player for the Reserves in 2009/10 and will also be hoping to force his way back in to Walter Smith's first-team plans.
He went on loan at the start of the 2009/10 season. Ross returned from his loan at Oxford and looking to challenge for a place in the first team. He has a tough job on his hands though as he looks to get by Bougherra, Weir and Wilson for a slot. He regularly plays for Scotland at youth levels and returned from England with more experience.
