Steve Hailing from the Bridge of Don area in Aberdeen, Steve Harvey is Rangers' team analyst.

It was perhaps inevitable he would end up with the Light Blues given he was in the same class at school as ex-Ibrox midfielder Gavin Rae.

Recruited by former manager Alex McLeish at the start of the 2003/04 season, Harvey has gone on to become an important member of staff at Murray Park.

His role is a diverse one and involves both filming games and preparing video for use by players and management at all levels.

Harvey's footage of Gers' various teams allows coaches to see how players are performing from a different perspective.

It also highlights any weaknesses that require work and can be used over time to chart how much progress an individual or group makes.

Similarly, Harvey collates visual content from external sources which can highlight vulnerable areas in opposing sides that Rangers can exploit.

His presentation packages are now a vital part of the pre-match build up before every fixture and they give Gers their best chance of victory each week.
