The place where only the special are introduced. A place for the true Legends of our great club, the ones that went that extra mile in the name of the Bears. Over 800 players have donned the light blue but only a small percentage have been deemed special enough to gain entry to the Hall Of Fame.

The Hall itself was inaugurated in 1999 where three players started the ball rolling. Less than a year later 15 pre-war players were hand picked by the committee. It was 2001 before the supporters were called upon to cast their votes with 10 post-war players being introduced each year for the next three years with the number of nominees and inductees dropping on each following year until the club was up to date.

There is a structure to all this though, it isn't just about fans favorites, there was a criteria set up by the founders of the Hall, Sandy Jardine, John Greig, David Mason and David Murray, which put forward the five attributes that had to be covered by any prospecting players.

  1. Service to the club
  2. Number of games
  3. Honours won with Rangers
  4. International caps won while at Rangers
  5. Exceptional abilities

The players that are lucky enough, make that honored enough, to make the list get to see there names go down in history and they are proudly displayed above the Marble Staircase in the entrance foyer of Ibrox, taunting anyone that enters those doors to go and make a name for themselves so that they too may enter into the Hall Of Fame.

Below are the players that have proved to be extra special in the eyes of the club and are all well deserving of going down in Gers history. There are also many names that didn't/haven't quite made the board as yet but who knows what the future holds...
